Mena Alexandra Suvari (born February 13 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. She began her modeling career in 1990. She soon shifted into acting following guest appearances on television series such as Boy Meets World or High Incident. The film debut came in 1997's dramatic Nowhere. Through her roles on American Beauty - for which she was nominated to be awarded a BAFTA Award - and American Pie, which garnered much attention, she transitioned into bigger roles. In the following years, she appeared as the lead on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2000) with American Pie star Jason Biggs.
